Our Army together with the FBI managed to prevent an extremely dangerous situation.
What’s worse, it comes from our own military!
Jim Mattis, Secretary of Defence together with the FBI stopped a United States soldier who was supposedly involved and working with ISIS!
An FBI SWAT team arrested Sgt. 1st Class Ikaika Kang, 34-year-old, who had served in the Army since 2001. After the suspicion of being radicalized, they investigated him for almost a year.
According to his father, Kang served in Afghanistan and Iraq, but while being there he started getting into and studying Islam. The FBI arrested him for attempting to give classified documents to undercover agents believed to be members of the terrorist group.
According to Jimmy Chen, FBI Special Agent, Kang swore an oath to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Allegedly, he told the undercover agents that he wanted to use his rifle to “kill a bunch of people.”
Thankfully, no military or classified documents ever made to the hands of the terrorist group, says Paul Delacourt, FBI Special Agent in charge.
It is disturbing to think that someone from the military could do such a thing. Those people are supposed to protect us, not betray us! Shock is an understatement to describe how we feel about this.
