The former President Jimmy Carter was recently interviewed by the NY Times, where he went on to talk about the current President, Donald Trump and his administration and their work.
“I think the media have been harder on Trump than any other president certainly that I’ve known about, I think they feel free to claim that Trump is mentally deranged and everything else without hesitation.”
Said the former president.
The wife of Jimmy Carter and former First Lady, Rosalynn who at the time was focused on mental heath told that having a White House shrink might help.
Carter also spoke about the current NFL controversy about the protests during the national anthem, saying:
“I think they ought to find a different way to object, to demonstrate. I would rather see all the players stand during the American anthem.”
The former President didn’t stop there. He went on and commented about Barack Obama, and his “marvelous statements,” explaining:
“He made some very wonderful statements, in my opinion, when he first got in office, and then he reneged on that.”
Carter also offered help from his services for the tensions with Notrh Korea, saying:
“I told him that I was available if they ever need me.”
Also lets not forget that Carter joined the other four former presidents to raise funds for the hurricane victims.
